DJ Gecko has been DJing on the South Coast, Home Counties and London since
1999.
His first promotion was Trancendance at the King Alfred in Southampton. From
there he moved Trancendance to his home town, Windsor, where it became very
successful at Supa-Nova in Windsor, and then onto Sub-Logic, Potion and most
recently the Southside Par in London. Following the birth of his daughter
Jasmine, he put Trancendance on hold until 2009 when it has come back as a
monthly podcast which can be found on this site.
In 2004 DJ Gecko reached the Semi-Final of the Turnmills DJ Competition where
he lost out to eventual winner, Sophie Sugar.
DJ Gecko was also responsible for the Dancing for BBC Children in Need
events, which have raised a lot of money for the BBC’s Children in Need Charity.
The last of these was in 2005 at Turnmills, and had a fantastic line-up.
